A & J

After wedding painting of A & J. This piece was commissioned as an anniversary gift by the groom for his wife. This is piece holds a special place in my heart, as it is my first commissioned piece. It was such an honour spending time trying to get the expressions just right, from her cheeky smile, to his soft gaze. The original painting is acrylic on stretched 100% cotton canvas with satin varnish (50 x 40 cm). The original photograph was taken by “Maryke Albertyn Photography”.
